About Us

Carli Barrios

I am a Speech Language Pathologist originally from Florida. I began my studies at the University of Florida then moved out to Bellingham for graduate school. I graduated from Western Washington University with my master’s degree and a mission to work with people with brain injuries. This mission took me away from Washington for a brief time, but I always felt a call to return.

When the opportunity came up to move back to Bellingham in 2014, I jumped at it!

When I’m not in the office, you will find me working on art projects or exploring town with my wife and our 2 goofy dogs.

I am a Speech Language Pathologist from a very small town in South Dakota. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Dakota and then immediately moved to Bellingham to go to graduate school at Western Washington University. I received my Master’s degree in June 2010 and worked at a pediatric private practice in town for about 5 years.  I recently returned from working in Alaska at a multidisciplinary clinic, focusing on pediatrics.  Since returning I’ve decided to explore practicing Accent Modification training as well.

When I’m not working, you can likely find me hiking on the trails in beautiful Whatcom County in search of mushrooms, riding my bike, practicing yoga, or kayaking.
