Carli is a Speech Language Pathologist originally from Florida. After graduating from University of Florida with her Bachelor's degree she moved to Bellingham for graduate school. Carli graduated from Western Washington University in 2012 with her Master's in Speech Language Pathology. She had a special interest in  work with people with brain injuries, which took her away from Washington for a brief time.

When the opportunity came up to move back to Bellingham in 2014,  she jumped at it!

Carli has experience in multiple types of clinical settings including skilled nursing, home health, and post acute care centers. She is a certified LSVT LOUD practitioner and a certified trainer for Positive Approach to Care. She regularly draws from this diverse experience to treat her clients with a holistic view.

Since 2020 Carli has shifted her practice toward working with the LGBTQ population providing gender affirming voice training.

Carli earned her Clinical Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology from Northwestern University in 2021 so that she is equipped to keep her practice on the cutting edge of clinical care and business operations. Carli is committed to making sure Catalyst continues to provide the highest quality of evidence informed care.

When Carli is not in the office, you will find her spending time with her partner in the beautiful outdoors, working on art projects or exploring town with her big goofy dog.

Kelsey is a Speech Language Pathologist from a very small town in South Dakota. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Dakota and then immediately moved to Bellingham to go to graduate school at Western Washington University. Kelsey received her Master’s degree in June 2012 and worked at a pediatric private practice in town for about 5 years.  After returning from working in Alaska at a multidisciplinary pediatric clinic, she helped Carli get Catalyst Therapies off the ground.

When Kelsey is not working, you can likely find her hiking on the trails in beautiful Whatcom County in search of mushrooms, riding her bike, practicing yoga, or kayaking.

Jessica is a Speech-Language Pathologist, originally from Seattle. She received a dual bachelors in English and Spanish from Western Washington University, and returned there for her Master's degree, graduating in 2017. She worked at a small county hospital in acute rehab specializing in acquired speech, swallowing, cognitive, and voice disorders for the next 4 years. Jessica found that she missed working with children, and was excited to return to pediatrics. She is passionate about strengthening pre-literacy and reading skills, social language skills, and executive function in my clients. She is a self proclaimed research and literature nerd and she strives to maintain the highest level of evidence based practice in her therapy planning.

When not in the office, you can find Jessica on her mountain bike, snowboard, or a climbing wall, buried in a book, or in her full-body chicken suit.

During her graduate studies, she completed an internship at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, WA, where she gained experience in feeding therapy in the NICU and conducted Modified Barium Swallow Studies with both adults and children. She later worked at Island Health Hospital in Anacortes, WA, providing care in an inpatient hospital setting for adults and geriatric populations, as well as in an outpatient capacity serving both adults and children. She is trained in SOS Feeding Therapy and continues to incorporate aspects of this approach into her work, with a particular passion for feeding therapy.

Outside of work, Zoelle is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys Pilates and stand-up paddleboarding.

Tell me about your child and what they love.  What is unique to them? What would make the most difference in their ability to communicate?  This information guides Dyann in her work with her clients in supporting their unique goals.  This is also what makes the practice of speech, language and social communication therapy so rich and engaging.  Adding a partnership with parents, caregivers and other professionals adds to the circle of support that combined, can make a profound difference in a child’s life.  The rich dynamic of this integration is what keeps me in love with this work and committed to best practices to serve my clients.

Dyann has provided therapy for adults and children for over 35 years.  With a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders from San Francisco State University and a variety of clinical experiences including acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, private and public education settings and as a private practice owner, all have contributed something unique and beneficial to her professional growth and skill development.  Dyann brings advanced training in social communication, executive functioning and Holistic Health Counseling to her work.  She is delighted to join the dedicated team at Catalyst.

A California-native and now grateful Bellinghamster, Dyann loves exploring the endless trails of Whatcom County and the surrounding area with her partner of 35 years and her adult children. Quilting, textile arts, pickleball, retreat work and a good read are also favorite ways to spend her days.
